About Us
- In 1979, the two
wives who started making these hors d’oeuvres in their homes thought
the name "Good Wives" would be appropriate and fun. "Good Wife" was a term
applied to a married Puritan woman, implying industry and integrity.
- Today, what began
as a cottage industry now operates out of an expanded commercial facility.
But the care that characterized recipe development and execution at
our inception is still evident in the products that you enjoy today.
All of our products are handcrafted in small batches to ensure the highest
quality.
- Our products
are all made with superior ingredients to ensure that you get the best
tasting hors d’oeuvres every time. You can be proud to serve our products
as if you made them yourself.
- Now, we have
expanded our line even further, adding crowd pleasing favorites in many
different categories. From Fillo Pastries like our Mushroom Beggar’s
Purse, to Puff Pastries like our Mini Beef and Chicken Wellingtons.
We’ve also expanded our Mini Quiche and Tartlet collection with items
like our Calamata Olive Tartlet and Mini Deep Dish Pizza, as well as
added Kabobs and Satays including Beef and Chicken in a variety of sauces.
We’ve even added Specialty Items like Coconut Chicken Tenders, Scallops
wrapped in Bacon, and Crab Cakes.
